Feasibility Study on Establishment of Auto-Gleam Carwash in Sampaguita St., Maligaya Park Subdivision, Quezon City

Abstract

Auto-Gleam is a carwash business that offers a massage chair service; it is located at #29 Sampaguita Street, Maligaya Park Subdivision, Quezon City. The researcher came up with this study because of the popularity of the carwash industry. The researchers also chose the location of the business and believed that it is suitable due to the constant demand on the area in which the business will be located. Auto-Gleam will have a startup capital of Php 1,000,000. The researcher used the descriptive method and considered the 4Ps to determine the viability and acceptability of the proposed business. The proponents surveyed50 respondents composed of students, professionals, and residents of Quezon City. The study also utilized financial statements in identifying the feasibility of the business to consider the efficiency of company performance and lastly. This study also used SWOT analysis to determine what the business is lacking, which can create opportunities for the business and result in a possible advantage for success. The result of this study showed that most of the respondents were male. Concerning age, most of the respondents were 26–32 years old. All respondents owned vehicles such as four wheels and motorcycles. Thus, the business can ensure the demands of its services offered. The return on investment (ROI) was also directly measured. The company ROI indicated that the total cost invested by the partners will already flow back to the company on its first-year operation. Carwash is a necessity in our daily lives. The researcher recommends promoting the business by expanding the promotional tool and creating unique offers for avid customers. Afterward, owners can rely on word of mouth to promote the business.
