Abstract
Students' habits can be influenced by factors outside of their control, such as their environment, their perspective on comparisons, their teachers, the books and reading materials nearby, even the location where they study, and other elements that affect their ability to focus, comprehend his lessons, and maintain the self-discipline and form the necessary study habits.
The descriptive method of the research was employed in this study. Forty third-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students of Bestlink College of the Philippines were included in this research. The survey questionnaire was disseminated through Google Forms. The study used statistical treatments such as frequency count, percentage, and weighted mean.
The findings indicated that the environment has the highest average range, indicating that the environment influences study habits. The environment is one in which students study in a supportive setting and are more engaged, motivated, and better learners.
The study found that the study habits used by BEED students under the influence of their parents had the highest impact on the students. Parental influence is parental support that motivates student academic progress, and parent encourages their child to set a high academic goal. Students' study habits effectively improve their skills and performance in school. It was clear that taking a break from studying can increase energy and refresh the brain to improve productivity and the ability to focus. However, the study also showed that there are guidelines for shaping third-year BEED students. As revealed in the findings, most respondents experienced the same habits and routines in formulating good study habits.
