Abstract

The DEDUC Tailoring Shop is located at Phase 9, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. The DEDUC Tailoring Shop Business is one of the best business opportunities because clothing is one of the necessities of the people. Clothing is one of the basic needs of man. The consumer needs the service and product to be able to fulfill one of the physiological needs of a person. This research used a descriptive research method to determine whether the DEDUC Tailoring Shop is accessible by the location, to know the preferences of customers regarding the price, to know the product will be acceptable to the prospective customer, and to determine whether the DEDUC Tailoring Shop can compete with other tailoring shops. The researchers surveyed100 respondents composed of students, teachers, employees, and walk-in customers. It also utilized financial statements in identifying the feasibility of the business. As a result of the survey, most of the respondents said that the DEDUC Tailoring Shop was accessible, affordable, the product is acceptable to the prospective customer, and can compete with other tailoring shops. Respondents said that the uniform increased the company’s/institution’spride to look presentable in their workplace. Respondents also said that they want to avail the product and service of the shop and also have good strategies to gain more customers. The DEDUC Tailoring Shop will continue the service to provide satisfaction to the customer. The financial aspect result of this study showed that the business’s return on investment (ROI) is 10.24% on its first year of operation and will continuously increase on the following year of its operation. The researchers found out that DEDUC Tailoring Shop can compete with other tailoring shops that are already operating in the market also can offer products that can suit consumer and their tastes. The DEDUC Tailoring Shop can provide a low price of materials with high quality of products and require a small amount of capital to operate. The researchers recommended that management should sustain the market strategy to compete with other competitors and provide high-quality products to satisfy the customer and create better ideas, plans, and strategies to make the business profitable and feasible. The researchers also recommended the management encourage individuals to invest in the business.
