Abstract

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world and can be presented in a variety of ways. Fruits are good source of vitamins and minerals. Fruit coffee shake is a coffee drink that has more nutrients than ordinary coffee and has a fruit flavor. Most people do not have enough time to eat or buy fruits in the market. Thus, the researchers’ product can help them be healthy; it is not an ordinary fruit because it is coffee flavored with fruit. It is very healthy. The researchers used a descriptive research design; survey questionnaires were administered to 50 Home Economics (HE)students and 10HEteachers that were chosen purposively. The survey questionnaire was constructed to determine the level of acceptability of fruit coffee shakes in the HE Strand of Bestlink College of the Philippines. The respondents agreed that the taste, aroma, nutritional value, and presentation of the product were balanced. Most respondents stated that fruit coffee shake has a good combination of fruit and coffee. Therespondentsliked the flavor of buko, watermelon, and apple and said that fruit coffee drinks also helped them relax. The researchers gave their conclusion and recommendations. Drinking fruit coffee shake boosts energy. It helps strengthen their body. It also adds minerals, refreshes their body and mind, and replenishes their strength. Fruit coffee shake helps people who love coffee because it has nutrients from fruits. Students should explore the importance of fruit and coffee in our body because fruit coffee shake has a good combination.
