Abstract

Community policing has emerged as a promising approach to address various safety concerns in urban neighborhoods. This research examines the effectiveness of community policing strategies in enhancing the safety of Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City’s communities. Researchers utilize a quantitative research design because it provides a systematic and detailed approach for gathering and analyzing data. By employing the qualitative method, the survey questionnaire used to gather the data in this study enables us to acquire credible evidence that enhances the reliability of the research. According to the replies the researchers received in the survey, the community policing strategies implemented in Malinta, Valenzuela City have consistently demonstrated their effectiveness, meeting and occasionally exceeding established benchmarks, apart from the lack of personnel to carry out the previously mentioned community policing strategies, as revealed in the survey findings. The results suggest that the effectiveness of community policing techniques utilized in Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City met the necessary criteria. The deficiency in personnel can be resolved by employing more staff.
