THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SECURITY SYSTEM IN THE COMMUNITY OF TAWID SAPA 2 BARANGAY KALIGAYAHAN NOVALICHES QUEZON CITY

Abstract

Advancements in technology have significantly enhanced security systems, contributing to the protection of individuals and property against various threats, including theft and accidents. Modern security systems often incorporate sophisticated technologies that facilitate effective monitoring and control. This study aims to assess the efficiency of communication during emergencies facilitated by these security systems, specifically focusing on their effectiveness in ensuring community safety. The research will evaluate the reliability of security systems in fostering a secure environment within Barangay Kaligayahan, particularly in the Tawid Sapa II area. This study uses a quantitative technique and a descriptive research design to evaluate how well security mechanisms in Barangay Kaligayahan, namely in the Tawid Sapa II area, ensure community safety. A phenomenon is methodically described via descriptive study, which also sheds light on its context and features. It makes it easier to gather and examine numerical data when paired with quantitative approaches, allowing researchers to spot trends and connections. According to the results, most respondents in the Tawid Sapa II neighborhood of Barangay Kaligayahan, Novaliches, Quezon City, strongly concur that their security systems are efficient. These systems are prized for their ability to provide early warnings against unwanted entrance to premises. They include perimeter fences, light sensors, CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) cameras, and alarm mechanisms. The barangay should hold seminars and programs to educate the locals about the benefits of security systems for their personal safety, according to the study's recommendations. To guarantee that security infrastructure and equipment continue to function and be effective, the barangay should also set up a maintenance program. To determine areas for improvement and gauge how well security measures are working, do evaluations on a regular basis.
