Abstract

The cross-training will focus on a special training strategy that has been proven to increase flexibility in hospitality organizations while also meeting employees' growing requirements and preferences. Cross-training refers to the process of instructing personnel to perform activities from more than one area. The restaurant sector is extremely competitive, with many establishments offering a wide selection of cuisines to attract clients. Cross-training has become an integral part of running a successful restaurant. This study aims to give employees an idea of how cross-training is helpful in their careers. The researchers used purposive sampling as a technique under the non-probability sampling method in order to evaluate twenty-five (25) respondents from selected restaurants in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. The researchers will use a simple method to classify the total gathered information. This study recommends that employees must receive ongoing training in order to grow in their careers and remain competitive. Training initiatives should link the learning of new skills to opportunities for professional growth. Mentorship programs can strengthen this relationship even further. Employees should be prepared for changes in the workplace through training. Developing a growth mindset has the potential to enhance adaptability as well. To reduce miscommunication and ensure the efficient transfer of knowledge and skills, training programs must be carefully planned and implemented.
