Career Opportunities of Hospitality Management Graduates of Batch 2022: Basis for Future Preferences

Abstract

Hospitality Management is a broad field with various industries. The chances for a successful
career are numerous if you choose this field. You can find a lot of work opportunities that
match your abilities and talents. The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM)
is a degree program that delivers education to people interested in building a career in the
leisure industry involving planning, developing, implementing, and controlling culinary and
lodging operations. This research aims to determine the career opportunities in hospitality
management for the 2022 batch. The researchers want to know how the hospitality
management batch of 2022 is doing after finishing their program.
The majority of respondents indicated that they were employed and that they were employed
in a job that was related to their bachelor's degree. The researchers determined the significant
difference between the career opportunities for males and females of BSHM batch 2022. The
study found that there is no significant difference in the career opportunities of the BSHM
batch 2022. Therefore, the researchers concluded that there are high career opportunities for
the BSHM batch 2022.
The researchers recommended that BSHM students participate in school-provided activities,
training, and seminars to gain and improve their knowledge and skills and that school
administration develop a program for BSHM students in which they can compete, train, and be
financially supported by the school to improve their skills and ability to compete. The
researchers proposed an action plan for BSHM graduates who are unemployed and unable to
find work in the industry due to a lack of opportunities. The school should offer a program that
allows unemployed graduates to attend a job fair.
