The smart kitchen is an upgraded system connected to Wi-Fi and high-tech appliances. It saves time and makes food preparation easier, especially in restaurants. Although there are occasional issues with connecting to phones and Wi-Fi, the benefits of a smart kitchen are significant. It allows for faster cooking, easier appliance operation, quicker dish cleaning, and the preparation of healthy and safe food. The smart kitchen has evolved significantly since the invention of the refrigerator in 1913. While some challenges remain, it is clear that a smart kitchen can greatly improve daily life. The researchers decided to use a quantitative descriptive technique to identify how a smart kitchen can help selected restaurants in Quezon City. They gathered information and data from restaurants that use smart kitchens in their daily food preparation. The researchers distributed the survey questionnaire to their target respondents, which consisted of 40 employees in total. Research has shown that smart kitchen appliances contribute to quicker food preparation and improved customer satisfaction. They offer energy-saving modes and allow for real-time data transfer. Additionally, they can detect potential hazards and track fulfillment times automatically. Investing in safety measures, such as wet floor signs and fire extinguishers, is also recommended. Overall, the use of smart kitchen technology enhances efficiency and food safety in restaurants and other food enterprises. Smart kitchen technologies are crucial for maintaining food safety and quality, as well as improving service time. Upgraded equipment with built-in sensors and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity aids in monitoring and management. Proper management is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and employee safety. Key factors for efficient operations include quick and accurate service, empathy and responsiveness toward customers, ergonomic workstations, high-quality equipment, and proper maintenance. Challenges in implementing these technologies include effective training and ensuring the safety and quality of cooked food. Regular maintenance and data security measures are also necessary.
