PERCEPTION ON THE STUDENT’S BEHAVIOR IN SELECTED HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCE AT BESTLINK COLLEGE OF THE PHILIPPINES

Students' behavior is influenced by a range of factors including cultural background, gender, and the expectations of their teachers and peers. These elements influence how students are perceived for their behavior, which impacts their social and academic growth. Understanding the complex interactions between these factors is critical for creating inclusive learning environments and promoting positive student outcomes. Therefore, educators and policymakers must recognize the significance of these dynamics to ensure that educational institutions remain effective and equitable for all students. The researchers conducted a study to determine the perception of behavior among senior high school students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. The research method adopted in this study is a quantitative research strategy. Data on how 150 senior high school students in the humanities and social sciences perceive student behavior at Bestlink College of the Philippines is gathered using simple random sampling. The researchers employed a questionnaire as a data collecting method to collect or gather the respondents' replies to the study. According to the findings, an overall weighted mean of 3.39 indicates that the behavior of students in a subset of the Humanities and Social Sciences at Bestlink College of the Philippines can be characterized in terms of dedication, classroom management, and discipline. Additionally, with an overall weighted mean of 3.52, several elements can affect pupils' conduct in terms of academic accomplishment, self-awareness, and ethical development. The findings about student behavior in a few Humanities and Social Science courses at Bestlink College of the Philippines are summed up in the discussion.
