Abstract

Learning styles reflect the diverse ways individuals absorb and process information, with each person having a unique combination that suits them best. Motivation, however, is the internal drive to learn and achieve, influenced by personal goals, interests, and external incentives. This study employs a quantitative research method with purposive quota sampling to collect data from 30 Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. It explores their learning styles and level of motivation. A survey questionnaire served as the primary data collection tool. This chapter presents the data collected by the researchers, analyzed descriptively and mathematically to ensure objective conclusions. The findings are categorized and summarized based on mathematical computations. This section includes the study’s sub-problems, tables, interpretations, analyses, and relevant citations.  Moreover, the learning styles and motivation levels of Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) honor students are assessed in terms of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, both of which are found to be highly effective. Additionally, the respondents suggest incorporating learning style assessments, such as inventories and observations, into teaching practices to better accommodate students’ diverse learning preferences and optimize learning outcomes. The concluding chapter synthesizes the key findings of this study, highlighting their significance, implications, and overarching themes. It provides insights into the broader impact of the research and explores potential directions for future scholarly investigation.
