Level of Effectiveness of Research Guide and Template in Studying Research Subject of Grade 12 General Academic Strand Students of Bestlink College of the Philippines

One of the most difficult things about being a student is writing a research paper. Many students suffer from analyzing how to improve their research papers. Thus, we decided to study the research guide and template in determining the effectiveness of the research guide and template in studying a research subject. Qualitative-descriptive research was used as the research design for the study. This study aimed to measure the quantity or amount, compare it with record, and attempt to project for a future period. This study utilized purposive sampling to select 50 students and Research teachers as respondents who assessed the level of effectiveness of the research guide and template. With the overall weighted means of 4.12 for Grade 12 students and 3.7 for research teachers, both groups strongly agreed that content, guide, and output achievement are effective in using the research guide book and template in the Research subject. Based on the findings of the study and conclusions that were drawn, the following recommendations were made. More known research guides and templates should be used to study Grade 12 General Academic Strand students in Bestlink College of the Philippines. Both groups of respondents confirmed the accuracy of the result of the study. The students’ skills in communication and human relations should be enriched. Students should develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work to prepare them to meet the needs and challenges of employment or higher education after graduation.
