ENROLLMENT SYSTEM FOR COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS ACADEMY OF SAN JOSE

Abstract

The Online Enrollment System for Community Learners Academy of San Jose benefits both students and the school by streamlining the enrollment process, making transactions quicker, more efficient, and user-friendly. This system addresses common issues in manual enrollment, such as time consumption, unsecured student data, and disorganized records. With an online enrollment system, the school can securely manage student information while providing accessibility to students for updates regarding their enrollment. The system includes a database accessible only to administrators, ensuring security and data integrity. The enrollment system was developed using the SDLC Waterfall model, which consists of seven stages: system planning, data analysis, system development, system design, system testing, system implementation, and system maintenance. The researchers gathered information and requirements through interviews. Based on the collected data, they designed the system, developed it using Visual Studio for coding, and utilized XAMPP for database management. The system significantly improved the enrollment process by providing a structured method for students to submit forms and requirements online. Enrollees receive updates on their application status and submission schedules. This innovation enhances efficiency, security, and convenience in school transactions. The Online Enrollment System offers a web-based solution that simplifies student registration at the Community Learners Academy of San Jose (CLASJ), regardless of grade level. It automates the workflow from form submission to approval and includes a notification system to update students about their enrollment status. By eliminating the need for physical paperwork, the system enhances efficiency, minimizes errors, and supports environmentally friendly processes. Ultimately, it provides a seamless and user-friendly experience for both students and school administrators.
