The Inventory System is a localhost-based platform designed to automate inventory tracking and product management for owners, assistants, and agents. It streamlines the maintenance, updating, and monitoring of stock levels by providing timely restocking alerts, improving overall inventory management, and eliminating the need for manual processes. The system aims to enhance accuracy and efficiency in handling inventory. The researchers’ client, LTSDECO Furniture, founded on September 17, 2020, specializes in designing and producing high-quality, stylish office furniture. The Inventory System was created following the SDLC Waterfall model, which includes seven sequential phases: Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance. To understand the client’s needs and challenges, the researchers interviewed to gather essential information. The development process strictly followed the Waterfall approach, ensuring each phase especially design and development was completed before moving to the next. The Inventory System not only assists the owners but also streamlines the work of admins, assistants, and agents. Its features and notification alerts help effectively manage stock levels and support informed decision-making. Key functionalities include a dashboard, notifications, user management, product and category management, detailed product information (such as brand, color, and condition), an archive, printable history, and comprehensive product reports with summaries. These improvements reduce manual tasks and directly address the client’s inventory management challenges. The client struggled with manual inventory management using tools like Excel for tracking products, monitoring stock levels, and recording activities. To address these issues, the researchers developed an inventory system that simplifies product management and aligns with the client’s preferences, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Although some requested features were not included, the additional functionalities introduced by the researchers enhance inventory management and improve operational processes.
