Abstract

This study assesses the human resources services of Quezon City Hall, focusing on identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in the hiring process. The goal is to optimize procedures, promote transparency, and enhance the recruitment experience for both the organization and potential candidates. A quantitative research design with purposive sampling was used to assess the human resources services of Quezon City Hall. The study provides recommendations to enhance the hiring process based on the gathered data. The findings present a comprehensive analysis of the current hiring process, identifying key aspects such as efficiency, transparency, diversity and inclusion, and training and development. Strengths and areas for improvement were highlighted, offering valuable insights into the existing human resources services at Quezon City Hall. These findings serve as a basis for improving the hiring process, ensuring greater efficiency, transparency, and inclusivity in recruitment practices. Respondents identified the high volume of applications and time constraints as the primary challenges faced by the Human Resources Department. To address these issues, this study recommends the implementation of e-recruitment and chrono-management strategies to streamline and enhance the hiring process at Quezon City Hall.
