The evolution of contemporary education and technological advancements has significantly transformed the way individuals acquire knowledge. Traditional classroom-based instruction is increasingly being supplemented—or replaced—by experiential learning approaches that immerse students in real-world contexts. This shift highlights the importance of providing learners with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in environments that are both safe and dynamic, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability. As industries continue to evolve, employers are seeking professionals who can effectively translate academic concepts into practical solutions. This study underscores the value of hands-on experience, reinforcing the idea that practical application enhances both information retention and conceptual understanding. This study employed a comprehensive and structured framework for the design, development, and evaluation of an integrated online health record management system tailored specifically for educational institutions. The development process involved close collaboration among cross-functional teams, including software developers, UI/UX designers, school physicians and nurses, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff. To ensure compliance with health data regulations, the system adhered to established standards such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Key security measures—including routine audits, data encryption during storage, and role-based access controls—were implemented to safeguard student health information and uphold confidentiality. This capstone project was initiated in response to the growing demand for a more efficient and reliable method of managing student health records in educational institutions. Recognizing that student health is a critical aspect of school management, the development team aimed not only to digitize health records but also to enhance health assessment quality through the integration of artificial intelligence. The primary objective of the system is to provide a secure, centralized platform that enables school nurses, administrators, and authorized personnel to efficiently record, access, and update students' health information. The rise of digital technology in the healthcare sector has enabled the modernization of medical data management. One of the most significant advancements in this field is the development of web-based health record management systems that integrate artificial intelligence with electronic health record (EHR) platforms. These systems not only enhance the efficiency and accuracy of healthcare delivery but also prioritize data security. To protect sensitive patient information and ensure compliance with privacy regulations, such systems implement robust security measures aligned with standards like the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
