In today’s fast-paced operational landscape, organizations must navigate complex logistics processes, including transportation, documentation, vendor coordination, and compliance monitoring. This capstone project introduces Travel and Tours: Logistics II, a comprehensive logistics management system specifically designed for JVD Events and Travel Management Co. The project was developed to address inefficiencies caused by fragmented and manual workflows in critical areas such as vendor coordination, audit management, vehicle scheduling, fleet monitoring, and document tracking. These challenges often result in delays, miscommunication, and elevated operational costs, ultimately compromising the company’s ability to deliver seamless travel and event services. By integrating core logistics modules into a unified digital platform, the system aims to streamline operations, enhance communication, and reduce overall inefficiencies. An agile methodology was employed to promote iterative progress, continuous improvement, and adaptability to user feedback throughout the system's development. The development team collaborated closely with key individuals familiar with existing processes—including project sponsors, stakeholders, and the scrum master—to define the business process architecture. Proper documentation of the system played a vital role in enabling more effective planning and integration. Ultimately, this approach aims to significantly enhance operational efficiency, reduce human error, and improve overall customer satisfaction. The Travel and Tours: Logistics II system successfully streamlined a range of logistics operations, significantly improving accessibility, accuracy, and overall efficiency. By reducing manual tasks, enhancing communication between modules, and enabling real-time monitoring and automation, the system addressed many of the persistent challenges in travel and tour logistics. It proved to be user-friendly, scalable, and effective, making it a valuable tool for modernizing and optimizing operational workflows. The capstone project effectively addresses the major logistical challenges encountered by JVD Events and Travel Management Co. By integrating modules for vendor coordination, vehicle reservation, fleet management, audit automation, and document tracking using QR codes, the system streamlines operations and minimizes manual errors. Developed using the Agile Scrum framework, the project incorporated continuous stakeholder feedback, resulting in a user-friendly and efficient platform. Overall, the system enhances operational efficiency, strengthens security, and lays the groundwork for future innovations in travel logistics.
