In today’s competitive business environment, technology plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and financial success. Small businesses like Fiore Petalo Flower & Cafe—which combines flower arrangement and cafe services—can benefit significantly from adopting tools such as point-of-sale (POS) systems. This study explores the impact of POS implementation on Fiore Petalo’s operational performance and financial outcomes, focusing on transaction efficiency, inventory management, and customer interactions. Many small businesses continue to rely on traditional manual processes, which often result in inefficiencies, errors, and missed opportunities. This research aims to determine how POS adoption can improve business performance, reduce costs, increase revenue, and enhance customer satisfaction. Using a descriptive research design, the study surveys employees and customers to gather insights into key aspects of operational performance, such as service speed, order accuracy, and employee productivity. It also evaluates financial success through pricing strategies, cost-effectiveness, and revenue growth. The research is grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the “Do It Now” Theory." This explains user perceptions and the practical application of POS systems in business settings. Findings indicate that the POS system significantly enhances business operations. It accelerates transactions, reduces billing and order errors, and streamlines service delivery. Employees report that the system is user-friendly and facilitates smoother, more organized workflows. Customers benefit from faster service and improved order accuracy, resulting in higher satisfaction levels. Financially, the cafe has improved its pricing strategies, achieved better cost control, and increased revenue through more efficient tracking and promotions. Statistical analysis confirms the positive impact of the POS system, with a t-value of 18.3554 and a p-value of 0.0001. The study highlights the importance of integrating technology to improve small business efficiency and profitability. The study recommends incorporating clear operational procedures and regulatory compliance measures into the system to ensure adherence to standards. This approach will help businesses fully optimize the system’s capabilities and support long-term growth and success.
