Abstract

Most of the students think that participating in extracurricular activities may be a hindrance to their academic performance because of having no time to attend classes due to practicing and preparing for their extracurricular activities. This research paper aims to give broader and more refined results by collecting and analyzing data from the students and the people who gave up and currently pursuing their professional life. The researchers used a research design, involved participants, and used material. Afterward, they gathered information and processed the data. This study utilized the descriptive survey method. This paper described the profile of the participants and looked into the significant differences and relationships in the factors affecting the academic performance of the students in the Bestlink College of the Philippines. The majority of the respondents can choose what they want and now have the interest to participate in any extracurricular activity. The results demonstrated that this research was effective in helping the students know the effect of extracurricular on their academic performance.
