Abstract

YouTube tutorials are accessible, engaging, and adaptable resources that support various learning styles. However, the quality of content varies, making critical evaluation crucial. Properly selected tutorials can enhance learning and motivate students. Therefore, educators must choose materials that align with students’ motivational needs and help develop their critical thinking skills. This study examines how learners can be guided to independently evaluate information, navigate online content responsibly, and strengthen their critical thinking abilities. The study assessed the impact of YouTube tutorials on learners’ motivation using a quantitative pre-test and post-test design. Participants first completed a pre-test to establish baseline knowledge Students who used YouTube tutorials for studying showed notably higher academic gains than those who did not. This chapter summarizes the study’s findings, presents conclusions, and offers recommended action plans. It aims to provide a clear overview of the key outcomes and insights derived from the research.
