Abstract

The automated mechatronics product organizer is designed to optimize the management, sorting, and storage of products in industrial environments such as warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and retail operations. This system integrates mechanical, electronic, and computing technologies to automate repetitive and labor-intensive inventory tasks. It applies the principles of mechatronics a multidisciplinary field combining mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, and control systems to develop an efficient and intelligent solution for product organization and inventory handling. The study employed the Experimental Prototype Development Method to design and construct the automated organizer. The development process involved identifying the required materials, assembling an initial prototype, conducting evaluations, and refining the system through iterative enhancements. The prototype utilized an Arduino Mega 2560 as the main microcontroller, supported by ESP32 for wireless connectivity and a vertical actuator for product movement and sorting. These components were selected to ensure functionality, expandability, and real-time control. The integration of mechatronics in manufacturing operations demonstrated multiple advantages, including increased productivity, operational efficiency, enhanced safety, and reduced labor costs. The system effectively automated tasks such as sorting and organizing products, minimizing manual errors and improving process accuracy. The prototype proved capable of performing multiple tasks with precision, confirming its potential for industrial application. The development of the automated product organizer using Arduino Mega and ESP32 successfully met its objective of providing a sustainable and efficient storage management system. The combination of sensors, actuators, and wireless control created a functional and scalable solution. The accuracy and reliability of the system reduce operational errors and contribute to a safer and more streamlined working environment. Future improvements may focus on increasing storage capacity, integrating smart analytics for inventory tracking, and enhancing the system’s adaptability for various industrial use cases.
