Abstract

In today’s highly competitive transportation industry, human resource departments face the daunting task of efficiently managing large volumes of job applicants while ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring decisions. Conventional recruitment processes often lack the efficiency and precision needed to accurately identify the best candidates. To overcome these challenges, we recommend implementing the Bus Transportation Management System: Human Resource 1 (BTMS-HR1), which integrates candidate screening, recruitment, applicant management, and new hire onboarding with an advanced Intelligent Resume Parsing Tool. By harnessing AI capabilities, this system automates and streamlines the hiring workflow, effectively scanning resumes for relevant keywords, skills, and qualifications, thereby enabling HR teams to expedite candidate evaluation with greater accuracy and consistency. The development of BTMS-HR1 followed an Agile methodology, structured into distinct phases to ensure efficient project execution. It commenced with the concept phase, where the product owner defined the project scope and objectives. Subsequently, the product owner and project manager evaluated the development team's capacity and resource readiness to guarantee that the appropriate personnel and tools were allocated. The project then progressed to the construction phase, encompassing the core development activities. During this phase, the team maintained continuous collaboration and promptly resolved any issues to ensure uninterrupted progress. Finally, the system entered the release phase, undergoing comprehensive testing to validate its functionality and performance prior to deployment. BTMS-HR1 transformed HR operations in the transportation sector by leveraging AI-driven resume parsing to drastically reduce manual screening time and enhance candidate shortlisting accuracy. The system streamlined applicant tracking and onboarding workflows, resulting in faster, more organized, and responsive processes. By enabling HR teams to efficiently handle high volumes of applications, BTMS-HR1 significantly increased productivity, minimized errors, and ensured strict adherence to compliance standards. BTMS-HR1 revolutionizes HR operations in bus transportation organizations by harnessing intelligent data extraction and centralized processing to streamline recruitment processes. This system significantly accelerates hiring while improving precision and scalability. Through AI-powered candidate screening, HR teams are empowered to efficiently manage high-volume hiring demands, ensuring consistent quality and strict adherence to compliance standards.
