Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of Productivity in the selected Printing shop along Fairview Center Mall, Quezon City, in terms of employees: age, gender, highest educational attainment, length of service, machine use, time frame of, no. of commission earned or incentives. Despite the goal of the five selected printing shops to have a quality service that is fast and efficient, it is discovered that the accomplishment of orders varies with the same volume of orders placed. The goal of this study is to identify areas for improvement and strengths, enabling the five selected printing shops to establish a work environment that values and engages employees, leading to increased job satisfaction, productivity, and employee retention.

The research method of design utilized in the study is mixed research, which determines the difference between and among the five selected printing shops. The participants of the study are Printing Shop employees, equivalent to Twenty-Five (25) respondents. The study aims to assess employee satisfaction and engagement levels among five printing shops based on their demographic profile analysis.

The result of this study shows that the highest factor in the assessment of the productivity of the selected printing shops is the Machine used with a high rate among the printing shops, followed by the Time frame of production or commission earned or incentives.

The findings suggest that machine quality and efficiency are crucial for a printing shop's success. This study hypothesized that there is no significant difference between and among the assessments of the selected Printing shops in terms of cited variables. For the other factors used in the assessment of the level of productivity, it is suggested that the Printing shops create ways to enhance those areas that need improvement or have low results.
