Abstract

The researchers proposed a project entitled Point Of Sale information system at Roma’s
Upholstery, a furniture maker at Novaliches, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The
Point of Sale System is a distributed system that will be developed to assist Roma’s
Upholstery in finding ways to improve the user experience, retention of customers, price
customization of every product, and keeping track of the previous purchase history of each
customer. Business owners can increase profits and reduce stress by using the point-of-sale
system.

The proponents conclude that the system is effective. The researchers successfully
completed work indicating that the system has now been used by the administrators and that
the customer's issue has been resolved because it is more user-friendly, secure, and simple to
install.

The Point of Sale System is capable of computing inventory, which has a new feature. The
researchers developed the system not only to be user-friendly but also to be more helpful for
the administrators.
