Abstract

This study focuses on how students become stressed in terms of time management,
schoolwork, and school expenses and how students handle the Problem in the School of
Grade 12 GENERAL ACADEMIC STRAND.


Based on the data gathered, in terms of a) Time management (3.44% submitting early so as to
not cost time), b) School work (3.14% completing assignments from different subjects all at
once), c) educational expenses (3.176% budget allocated for transportation). Based on the
findings of the study, respondents Agree that academic stressors influence student retention
in terms of time management, school work, and school expenses.


According to the summary of the data collection, here were some recommendations: a) Time
management (Early submissions are encouraged to prevent cramming at the last minute), b)
school work (Do assignments and activities one by one in a timely manner, thus preventing
piling up of activities) c) educational expenses (Allot most of the allowance for priorities (e.g.
transportation fare, school supplies)
