Awareness of Youths in Prevention of Kidnapping in Brgy. Commonwealth Quezon City

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to lessen crime, especially kidnapping, and to teach the youth how
to prevent any illegal behavior that causes harm or damage to someone or something. The
data gathered we're analyzed through the use of percentages and weighted mean. It was
discovered, based on the analysis, that Youth can prevent and avoid kidnapping with the help
of our Police and Barangay Officials. They used the force of Barangay, police visibility, and
Barangay CCTV to maintain the security of the youth. Through the process of this paper, the
researcher saw that the kidnappings are not getting worse than in the past few years.

The researchers aim to maintain the security of youths, especially in Barangay
Commonwealth. They found out that some youths had knowledge of how to avoid or prevent
the kidnapping. Also, researchers found out that the Barangay and police are observed every
day and night, and some CCTV is installed on every street to keep the safety of youths and
other people from criminals who can do harmful things.
