Abstract

The study focused on the impact of the rehabilitation program in the Camarin Caloocan anti-
drug abuse office. It focuses on the topic of drug-related; because of this known issue in the
country of the Philippines, a rehabilitation program has been built to help many dependents
get back to their normal life. This study is very important to study and read because it will help
everyone open their eyes to the impacts of rehabilitation programs on people who are
dependent on a variety of drugs. In addition, it will help them understand the reasons why the
respondents attend rehabilitation programs in their community.


The researchers found out that respondents had personal and social reasons why they
attended rehabilitation programs; they attended because it helped them be with their families
without any problems or harmful threats. In addition, they found out that rehabilitation
programs have a great impact on drug dependents. It affects their mental, physical, emotional
health, and social relationships. They discovered that rehabilitation programs help the drug
dependent to analyze things in a positive way, push them to be healthy physically, and enable
them to share their feelings and opinions in different aspects of their lives.


The researchers highly recommend the following: the government should provide enough
budget for rehabilitation programs; they should create advertisements that may help people
who are drug dependents to learn about the advantages of attending prograMs. Officials must
create many activities that may give more enjoyable learning and motivation. In addition, the
government should help rehabilitation areas to create a better place and to have good
equipment to use while doing the programs inside the community.
