Abstract

Online shopping is the practice of making purchases from vendors who run websites via the
Internet. Businesses have worked to market to those using the internet since the World Wide
Web first launched. Customers can now shop online while lounging in the comfort of their
homes sitting in front of a desktop; consumers are attracted to online shopping because they
feel secure and comfortable doing so. As a consequence, online shopping has become very
popular, making it essential to research consumer attitudes toward the practice. However, a
few problems appeared to be stopping consumers from feeling fulfilled when they made
purchases online. The fact that online shopping can result in customer dissatisfaction because
of things like slow product delivery is one of the most prevalent issues.


Respondents of the conducted survey for the research perceived that 1) Availability is a must,
2) Quick response to customer inquiries is important, 3) Seller must give accurate details to
the customers, 4) Customers are cautious in terms of fraud in online shopping and, 4) Detailed
receipts are needed by customers. The survey conducted for the research also concluded
points such as products must be of good quality, must be on the right pricing, there must also
be promotions such as price discounts, and also a more user-friendly website.


This study provides information regarding customers' perceptions of online shopping. The
survey also provides the problems encountered by customers when conducting shopping over
the online platform. Must improve and assess to accommodate the needs of the masses. The
results that were acquired and the problems that consumers are facing when doing online
shopping can be the key insights that sellers and online selling platform needs to provide
changes that can make customers of online shopping a lot better and a lot safer.
