Abstract

Being a student in the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program is challenging.
There are many topics to explore, but one of the more distinctive ones is bartending. The
majority of students are anticipating, and at the same time, to have a lab specifically on alcohol
usage. Alcoholic beverages may have an adverse effect on their health, and others are
experiencing a reaction in their bodies, but in this situation, about mixing types of drinking
during the bartending class of the BSHM students, they also want to know what can affect
because not all the times they always same their bodies reaction, alcohol intolerance, and
behaviors. Alcohol consumption can lead to poor academic performance, injuries, fighting the
use of other substances, and risky sexual behavior of the students.


Based on the findings it shows that most of the students are ranked as “ Moderate “ because
they know their limit when it comes to alcoholic drinks during bartending class. This study
recommended that the bartending laboratory at Bestlink College in the Philippines maintain
the well-being of the students during bartending class and that the professor should have a
briefing before they start the class in the laboratory. The facility staff in the laboratory should
provide medical consent for each BSHM student before they take bartending classes so that
they are aware of having a problem with their health. This study recommended that the
