Abstract

This study aims to determine the resiliency from Covid-19 of Astrotel Novaliches Branch towards effective strategic management in terms of Strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. The method of purposive sampling was utilized to develop the sample for the research under the discussion of respondents of 19 workers of Astrotel Novaliches branch. The researchers utilized 19 workers of Astrotel as respondents of this study as they believe that number was sufficient to represent the whole population of the workers of Astrotel. The findings revealed that the Astrotel Novaliches branch encountered difficulties in reopening, hiring, and retaining staff. This signifies that the Covid-19 outbreak has affected the hotel industry so severely that they must deal with the uncertainties of the environment to survive. This study recommended that hotel businesses should establish and formulate an action plan. It is recommended to hire people eager to establish a career in the industry and within the company, have a passion for hospitality, and have the necessary character attributes to succeed. Sifting through many applications is not always pleasant and differentiating one applicant from another may be challenging; thus, it must have clearly defined objectives to swiftly determine whom to interview. It is better to have a plan during a crisis than to have none, regardless of the outcome.
