Abstract

Safety and Security (SAS) is a set of protocols inside an academic facility or campus that
provides safeness to the Students, Teachers, Staff, and all the people inside the school
through systematic monitoring, evaluation, and assessment to prevent risks and to properly
address and handle accidents, incidents and natural disasters that may arise. Doing all of
these needs quite a lot of manpower, therefore increasing the budget and planning for all the
labor and tools needed to satisfy all the requirements in providing safety and security.

The implementation of Safety and Security monitoring evaluation and administrative online
system through browser and mobile app resulted in increased productivity and output. The
system’s digital monitoring and evaluation can handle specified reports and produce digital
documents that can be used as an official report, and the administrative system can be used
to receive and review all the reports submitted in real-time, therefore reducing the budget and
manpower needed to fully satisfy the requirements of stakeholders.

Overall, the implemented system brought significant results in Safety and Security
implementation. The system is fully optimized while satisfying all the requirements of all the
stakeholders by being committed to providing a user-friendly but powerful system that can
handle all tasks that need to be done by the department. This system can be further
developed by the next researchers/developers with end users’ feedback or new requirements
by the stakeholders. The system will be reliable and fast, therefore enabling the Safety and
Security department to do their tasks excellently and in a great manner, resulting in a safer
and more secure school.
