Abstract

The purpose of this action research was to develop the skills of the student in presentation and let them know what are the skills they need to surpass the fright on their self. Students naturally have skills, but they are afraid to show them because they are afraid of judgment and stereotyping. Thus, the ultimate purpose of this action research was to help them to discover their hidden talents and skills in presentation and develop the skills that need to obtain. This study used the survey method to gather the needed information. It also used a descriptive research design. The respondents of the study were 50 Grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM)students that were selected through convenience sampling. Based on the result of the study, the presentation skills of Grade 12 ABM students to improve their performance task in terms of (1) group reporting, (by enhancing the reporting skills of the Grade12 students, they were able to present actively in the group report and perform well as a group), (2) individual reporting (by enhancing the reporting skills of the Grade 12 students, they were able to perform well in their reports and master the topic before reporting), and (3) oral defense (they can present their research with confidence and mastery by enhancing their reporting skills). The researchers recommended that the students should concentrate more on their self-confidence about their reporting skills. Students should know the topic well. The researchers also recommended that the students should cooperate or participate in the class effectively to practice and improve their presentation skills. The researchers also recommended that the students should cooperate and participate in class more efficiently to improve their reporting skills.
