Abstract

Local area network (LAN) is extremely popular nowadays. It is also very useful. Teachers are very busy because they have many tasks to do. In this research, we concluded that having a LAN in ICT faculty will help ICT teachers to lessen their tasks to enhance data transferring and secure the data. This research gathered qualitative data. We interviewed and surveyed ICT teachers that experience problems without a LAN in their faculty. Some ICT teachers know more without having a LAN in their faculty. Some ICT teachers know more about our topic. In the planning stage, the researchers prepared a set of activities, such as brainstorming. The researchers located the materials needed for this project. This research was based on the researchers’ learnings and observations. We know the solution when there is unsecured data in the ICT faculty. Data transferring was faster and easier for the teachers. Moreover, the LAN will be a great help in managing the faculty by making the data easier to manage, monitor the information, share files, and perform technical tasks more conveniently.
