Level of Acceptability of Papaya Juice with Honey in Bestlink College of the Philippines

Abstract

The researchers made this research to know the level of acceptability of papaya juice with honey inBestlink College of the Philippines. Papaya (Carica papaya) is one of the native fruits in the Philippines. It is a fruit that is we can see everywhere. Papaya juice originated in the 17th century. Honey is a thick liquid that is amber or gold in color. The researchers used an experimental research design in this study. A survey questionnaire was used to gather the data of the respondents. A sampling technique was applied to select the respondents. The results showed that the product is acceptable because people tend to look for alternative products because of the smell of the product but will not risk their health. Researching about acceptability is not easy because it requires time and patience, especially when the product has many competitors. The results of the study showed that in terms of all variables, students had a weighted mean of3.49, with the verbal interpretation of strongly agree. In terms of all variables, the teachers had a weighted mean of 3.59, with the verbal interpretation of strongly agree. Our product is made of papaya and added honey for a twist. The results showed that the product is excellent. We can recommend this product as one of the unique juices in the market.
