Academic fatigue, also known as burnout, is a state of physical, emotional, and cognitive exhaustion that is common among college students. The rigorous demands of academic life often lead to persistent stress and fatigue, making it difficult for students to stay motivated and engaged. Prolonged academic stress can diminish enthusiasm for learning, hinder academic performance, and even increase the risk of college dropout. The researchers utilized a correlational research design with a quantitative approach to examine the relationship between stress levels and academic fatigue among 4th-year Psychology students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. Two standardized survey questionnaires were administered to assess academic fatigue and stress levels. A total of 103 students from six regular sections were selected using the stratified sampling technique and Slovin’s formula. Data analysis involved percentage and mean computations, while the Pearson Correlation Coefficient was applied to determine the strength and significance of the relationship between the variables. The results indicated that the majority of the respondents were young adults, with a predominantly female population in the 4th-year Psychology program. Most students reported experiencing a moderate level of stress. Additionally, statistical analysis showed that respondents also experienced moderate academic fatigue. Furthermore, the findings revealed a strong positive correlation between stress levels and academic fatigue among 4th-year Psychology students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. The researchers concluded that implementing an action plan could help manage and reduce students' stress levels and academic fatigue. However, the study primarily focused on examining the relationship between stress levels and academic fatigue among students.
