This study focuses on the development of an offline web-based point-of-sale (POS) system for FoodCrib Milktea and Snackshop to streamline sales, product management, and customer transactions. The system enables the shop owner to log in, record sales, manage orders, and generate client receipts efficiently. By automating these processes, the system aims to facilitate faster and more accurate transactions, ultimately improving service quality. The research employed the Software Development Life Cycle Waterfall Model, progressing through seven phases: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The researchers conducted brainstorming sessions, identified a suitable client, and gathered relevant business information through interviews. System development involved designing the interface, coding, debugging, and testing functionalities using Visual Studio Code, XAMPP, and SQL Server Management Studio. The developed POS system successfully optimized sales tracking, order management, price computation, and receipt generation for FoodCrib. By automating these tasks, the system significantly improved transaction speed and accuracy, leading to better customer service and overall business efficiency. Traditional POS systems in food service establishments often rely on specialized hardware and software. In contrast, this offline web-based POS system operates on standard devices such as laptops, eliminating the need for additional hardware. This ensures a cost-effective, hassle-free, and efficient solution for managing shop operations.
