Abstract

The modernization of government services has improved efficiency and service quality. By integrating multiple government operations into a single platform, Integrated Citizen Services aims to enhance customer satisfaction, accessibility, and efficiency. Business permits and licensing involve complex legal and administrative processes, often making navigation difficult for users. In today's globalized business environment, multilingual support has become essential for ensuring diversity, legal compliance, and effective communication in these processes. This capstone project, "Local Government Unit: Integrated Citizen Services and Business Permit & Licensing Management with Multilingual Support Accessibility," focuses on the connection between business permit management and citizen services. The Agile Scrum methodology was implemented to address the evolving nature of local government services and the need to adapt to changing citizen expectations. This iterative approach promotes continuous development, collaboration with stakeholders, and adaptability to meet community needs effectively. The system's development aligned with the goal of enhancing citizen services, ensuring improved service provision through Agile Scrum’s collaborative framework. The project emphasizes active stakeholder participation, clearly defined tasks, and progressive system improvements to create a solution tailored to the community's needs. The creation of the Integrated Citizen Services and Business Permit & Licensing Management System with Multilingual Support Accessibility represents a significant step in improving community services. This system empowers citizens and businesses by enhancing accessibility, streamlining service delivery, and reducing administrative burdens. By committing to continuous improvement and community engagement, the project lays the foundation for a more inclusive and resilient local governance system.
