This study was conducted to determine the level of student satisfaction with the sanitation and cleanliness of the canteen at Bestlink College of the Philippines. A total of 100 college students from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program participated in the study. The primary data collection method was a survey questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed using percentages and weighted means to assess students’ satisfaction levels regarding canteen sanitation and cleanliness. The majority of the respondents (55%) were between 20 and 22 years old, followed by 26% aged 17–19, and 19% aged 23–25. Most respondents were female (62%), while males accounted for 38%. Respondents were evenly distributed across all college year levels. Analysis revealed that student satisfaction was largely influenced by adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sanitation and cleanliness. Many students expressed the need for proper food storage practices, particularly separating raw and cooked foods. Service quality factors such as assurance, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy played a significant role in student satisfaction. Reliability and responsiveness were linked to the canteen’s commitment to maintaining high service standards, while empathy reflected the management’s focus on hygiene and students' well-being. This study highlights the importance of sanitation and cleanliness in maintaining student satisfaction with the college canteen. Findings suggest that proper hygiene practices, adherence to food safety protocols, and efficient service contribute significantly to a positive dining experience.
