Abstract

In today's educational landscape, Learning Management Systems (LMS) play a vital role in enhancing student learning, particularly for Senior High School (SHS) students. However, despite their benefits, various issues and concerns arise, necessitating thoughtful interventions. This study aims to explore common LMS-related challenges faced by SHS students and identify potential solutions to improve its implementation. Understanding these challenges is crucial for educators and policymakers in making LMS platforms more effective and inclusive. Furthermore, public interaction remains an essential aspect of the learning process. This research seeks to address student concerns regarding LMS usage. The study employed a quantitative research method with 30 Grade 12 Senior High School General Academic Strand (GAS) students from Bestlink College of the Philippines, Bulacan, enrolled for the Academic Year 2023-2024. Findings indicate that most students strongly agree that completing LMS activities improves their grades. The study also confirms that LMS is highly beneficial in providing continuous access to lessons, even when students are not physically attending school. Using the weighted mean method, results show that students recognize LMS as an essential tool that impacts both their academic performance and daily learning activities. It is recommended that educators optimize LMS to further support students aged 17 to 19, who make up the majority of respondents. The data reveals that the most significant benefit of LMS is its ability to enhance students' grades, ranking first with a mean score of 3.31, indicating a strongly agree response. Additionally, the study confirms that LMS provides students with continuous access to learning materials, making it an essential tool for both academic and daily applications.
