Abstract

The Customs Compliance and Documentation and Multi-modal Transportation Support project aims to enhance efficiency for both users and customers. One key feature is the storage of files in a digital database, replacing the traditional file case system that required extensive effort to retrieve records. With a digital database, documents, including legal paperwork, can be easily stored and accessed. As the system's development progresses, identifying potential risks is crucial to addressing possible issues and implementing effective solutions. This study utilized task time estimation to structure project sprints using the agile methodology. Large tasks were divided into smaller, manageable tasks to enhance efficiency. The system development involved collaboration with development teams, a Scrum master, and business process analysts. Agile methodology facilitated stakeholder consultations, allowing for adjustments throughout the project to meet expectations. This approach emphasizes continuous communication, teamwork, flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness to change, all contributing to a high-quality system. Key findings focus on functionality, security, and performance. The system meets usability and user experience standards while offering strong security measures to protect data integrity and privacy. Performance enhancements have improved the overall user experience, demonstrating potential for further development and adoption of similar systems. Findings highlight the system's effectiveness in security, performance, and usability. The system integrates password hashing, encryption, and privacy assurance to prevent unauthorized access. Performance improvements, including a clean interface, responsiveness, and resource efficiency, have contributed to an enhanced user experience. Freight management is a complex discipline involving multiple parties, processes, and challenges. In today's evolving supply chain landscape, businesses can achieve operational excellence by continuously improving freight management practices, prioritizing sustainability, fostering collaboration, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging technological innovations.
