Abstract

This study examines the impact of office meetings on decision-making within corporate settings. It explores the complex relationship between office meetings and the decision-making process, focusing on factors such as meeting frequency, participant engagement, agenda clarity, and meeting duration. By analyzing these aspects, the research aims to provide valuable insights into how office meetings influence decision-making effectiveness in corporate environments, ultimately offering practical recommendations for improving meeting efficiency and decision-making outcomes. This study utilized a Quantitative Descriptive Research Design and employed a purposive sampling technique to identify the target population. A researcher-designed questionnaire was used as the primary tool to gather data from the respondents, capturing their experiences and insights on the topic.. The demographic profile revealed that most of the respondents are between 21 and 28 years old, with 60% of the employees being male. Additionally, the majority of the respondents hold a Bachelor's degree. Through comprehensive data collection and analysis, utilizing surveys and statistical methods, the study explores key factors such as meeting frequency, participant engagement, clarity of the agenda, meeting duration, and the effectiveness of decision-making. By synthesizing the collected data, this study offers valuable insights into the complex dynamics of office meetings and their significant influence on corporate decision-making. The findings contribute to the existing body of literature on organizational communication and management, offering valuable insights that can help enhance meeting effectiveness and optimize decision-making processes within corporate environments.
