Abstract

Incentive programs play a crucial role in any company by motivating employees and driving them toward achieving both personal and organizational goals. This research is particularly timely and relevant, especially in today's competitive work environment, where increasing employee productivity and engagement is essential.  In the BPO industry, companies often face challenges that can impact employee performance, such as the high volume of hires and the availability of client accounts. Since BPO companies rely on account availability, fluctuations in demand may result in work disengagement among employees. Addressing these challenges through effective incentive programs can enhance motivation, job satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency. This study employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive research design and a purposive sampling technique to identify the target population. A total of 25 employees from a BPO company, aged 20 to 50 years old, participated in the study. The researchers utilized a survey questionnaire as the primary instrument to collect data, gathering the respondents' experiences and insights on the topic. The demographic profile results indicate that the majority of respondents are aged 20–25 years old (28%), with 52% being female, making up a total of 100% of the sample. The study highlights that increased motivation enhances productivity and performance, and the BPO company supports this by integrating performance bonuses, recognition programs, and awards. Rewarding employees for their efforts fosters gratitude and loyalty, ultimately reducing turnover. Additionally, recognizing employees' contributions creates a positive work environment, increasing engagement and job satisfaction.  The following findings were observed from the weighted mean scores:  Employee satisfaction – 3.42 (Strongly Agree) Operational productivity – 3.18 (Agree) Employee engagement – 3.14 (Agree) Work efficiency – 3.19 (Agree) Goal alignment – 3.40 (Strongly Agree) Employee retention – 3.30 (Strongly Agree)  These results emphasize the importance of motivation and recognition programs in improving employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention while fostering a more productive and goal-oriented workplace. The researchers recommend implementing incentive programs, employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and regular feedback mechanisms to cultivate a positive workplace environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and empowered to perform at their best.  In summary, these strategies enhance employee satisfaction, leading to higher productivity, increased engagement, and improved retention rates within the company.
