Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine how management methods affect employee productivity and how leaders hold a crucial responsibility in driving team performance and ensuring the overall success of the company. Their behavior can either uplift or hamper the company’s success, making it essential for leaders to recognize the weight of their actions. Additionally, the study focuses on the pivotal role that experienced colleagues in higher positions fulfill in fostering employee development and growth. The study employs a quantitative design which employed to twenty-five (25) employees of Sambo Kojin in SM Fairview, Quezon City. Descriptive research methods are used to collect data, and purposive sampling is utilized to select suitable respondents. The findings indicate that management methods are a crucial factor in employee productivity. Instances that support this include showing recognition to employees to express gratitude, engaging employees in developing new and varied solutions to approach tasks innovatively, providing employees with a clear understanding of the task, core values, and objectives, and listening to employees' concerns. This concludes that employees are satisfied because management shows recognition and expresses gratitude, encourages employees to develop new and unique approaches to work in innovative ways, listens to and considers employees' complaints, and provides them with a clear understanding of their responsibilities, core values, and objectives.

Management should foster an environment where employees feel encouraged to ask questions and voice concerns. They should express themselves clearly and clarify concepts so that all employees understand the objectives, duties, and expectations of every task. Additionally, they must offer concrete guidance while granting staff the freedom to manage their own schedules and tasks, enhancing productivity, initiative, and job satisfaction.

Furthermore, management should be aware of the needs and demands of their employees, regularly check in on their performance, listen intently, and empower them to participate in decision-making. Delegating work effectively gives employees a sense of empowerment, increasing engagement and providing opportunities to develop innovative skills.
