Abstract

The fast-food industry is a key pillar of the food service sector, offering extensive employment opportunities while relying on customer satisfaction for success. Employee efficiency plays a critical role in delivering quality service, with working periods being a significant factor in overall productivity. This quantitative study investigates the impact of work schedules on employee efficiency in selected McDonald's branches in Quezon City. It aims to identify optimal working periods that enhance productivity and explores strategies for improving time management. By emphasizing sustainable working conditions, the research underscores the importance of employee well-being and job satisfaction in driving long-term business success. This study employs a descriptive research design, utilizing surveys and observational methods to evaluate employee perceptions and performance." Employees highlighted key challenges, including reduced social life, irregular scheduling, and workplace stress, underscoring the need for proactive management strategies. To mitigate these issues, the study recommends fostering a culture of transparency and empowerment, where employees feel valued, supported, and encouraged to contribute innovative ideas for workplace improvements." This study offers valuable insights into the impact of working periods on employee efficiency within the fast-food industry. By adopting evidence-based strategies to improve working conditions, McDonald's and similar establishments can enhance employee well-being, boost productivity, and elevate customer satisfaction. Ultimately, these efforts contribute to long-term business success and the cultivation of a supportive, high-performance work environment."
