Abstract

This capstone explores the potential of cloud-based technologies to enhance human resource processes and optimize workforce management. By integrating cloud computing with HR technologies, businesses can transform the way they engage, manage, and empower their employees. This research examines the benefits and implications of this integration, addressing current challenges and providing solutions to improve overall performance in an increasingly digital world. The proponents chose the Agile Scrum methodology due to its iterative framework, cross-functional teams, and responsiveness to changing requirements. The implementation focuses on secure user authentication, EIM integration, testing, and troubleshooting documentation. The daily stand-ups include discussions on various topics, such as access control, employee onboarding, and testing. The Sprint Review introduced safe authentication techniques, UI improvements, security audits, and testing results. There were also updates to the user manuals and system documentation. The integration of human resources and EIM systems is critical to the success of cloud-based solutions in microfinance institutions. Efficient human resource practices are essential for a smooth transition to cloud-based technologies. Cloud-based solutions depend on data quality, accessibility, and organizational agility, which are crucial to human resource operations. The performance of the human resource management system is not only a forerunner but also a driver of cloud technology integration as microfinance institutions navigate the evolving financial services market. Cloud-based integration of human resources and Employee Information Management (EIM) is revolutionizing the corporate landscape. The integration streamlines processes, enhances accessibility to essential human resources data, and improves data accuracy. Cloud technology's flexibility, scalability, and security features address the limitations of traditional systems, future-proof human resource processes, and facilitate collaboration among geographically dispersed teams. Moreover, cloud-based integration in human resources and EIM is a strategic necessity as businesses adapt to the evolving needs of the contemporary workforce, moving toward a future where human resources is no longer a distinct department.
