One of the challenges faced by students pursuing a bachelor's degree in physical education is the inadequate availability of facilities and equipment, which directly impacts students' performance and influences the effectiveness of the learning environment. Inadequate conditions negatively impact interest in learning, academic performance, and participation in enriching activities for mental, physical, and social development. This research is grounded in the theory of sports facility maintenance management, emphasizing the importance of having functional, safe, and sustainable sports facilities to support physical activities, sports, and events. The research also recognizes the significance of well-maintained physical facilities in school systems for creating an optimal environment that enhances the performance of teachers and students. The researchers have developed a comprehensive theoretical framework to ensure effective management and control of sports and school facilities. The researchers were challenged to study the academic outcome of the utilization of sports facilities and equipment among BPED students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. This study utilized the descriptive method and quantitative research design to collect information using a survey questionnaire. The study was intended for the selected sixty-three (63) second-year BPED students. The researchers used random sampling techniques to choose the respondents for the study. The study explains how inadequate sporting facilities and equipment significantly affect students' performance and academic outcomes. Students acknowledged the impact on academic outcomes in terms of social, mental, and physical aspects. The majority of the respondents concur that the use of sports facilities and equipment affects practical demonstration, physical skills, and sportsmanship, which lead to better academic outcomes. The study found that students have access to a basketball court but lack equipment at school. They believe that using sports facilities and equipment improves their health and performance, affects their mental well-being and academic performance, and enhances their social skills through interaction during sports participation. Most students strongly agreed that using sports facilities and equipment helped them execute the proper use of the facilities and equipment and develop skills and teamwork. In order for the students to enhance their academic performance by utilizing sports facilities and equipment, researchers created a guideline to optimize the students' performance and improve their academic outcomes. By following these guidelines, students, teachers, school administrators, and future researchers can work together to continuously improve sports facilities and equipment, creating an environment that promotes physical activity, well-being, and academic success.
