This study examines how students in the TLE Majors program are able to secure employment after earning their Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) certification. Understanding the role of TESDA certification in enhancing students' employability is essential, given the growing emphasis on certification and skill development in today’s job market. The study aims to develop an action plan to better support TLE Major students at Bestlink College of the Philippines, encouraging them to pursue TESDA certification and highlighting its significant impact on their future job applications. The researchers employed a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach. The study examined the strength and direction of the correlation between variables, determining how two or more variables were related. The correlation could be either positive or negative, depending on the nature of the relationship observed. The results revealed that most respondents were female and between 21 and 25 years old. They strongly agreed that TESDA certification had a positive impact on their employability across various industry sectors, particularly by fostering a strong work ethic and enhancing practical skills. Respondents acknowledged the value of TESDA training in specific areas such as baking, dressmaking, beauty care, and carpentry. They also found the delivery methods—both online and face-to-face—along with international recognition and the availability of scholarships, to be effective in supporting their professional development. Most respondents were female, aged 21 to 25, and enrolled as TLE Major students at the institution. They perceived the TESDA certification as highly effective in improving their job application prospects. Findings indicated that many students were actively involved in developing or designing specific steps, programs, or projects aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of TESDA certification. This engagement enabled them to acquire additional knowledge, become more skilled, and demonstrate competence when applying for employment. It also helped TLE Major students stay updated with the latest technological advancements, gain a general understanding of various equipment, and complete practical tasks that enhanced their specialized skills.
