The purpose of this study is to assess the effective utilization of demonstration equipment as a foundation for developing a skill book designed to enhance learning among Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. Specifically, the research explores how hands-on learning using demonstration equipment influences students' comprehension and skill development in practical and technical subjects. The study employed stratified sampling techniques and a descriptive research method to analyze and present the data. A total of 80 BTLED students from the first and second years at Bestlink College of the Philippines participated in the study. A survey questionnaire served as the primary instrument for data collection. The demographic profile of the respondents indicates that the majority are female and fall within the age range of 18 to 20 years old. In terms of the impact of demonstration equipment on learning development, respondents strongly agreed that it significantly enhances their understanding, learning styles, academic performance, and overall effectiveness, contributing to long-term knowledge retention. In response to these findings, a skill book was developed to enhance students' practical abilities and serve as a supplementary learning resource aligned with the existing curriculum. To address the specific needs of BTLED students, the skill book includes well-structured exercises, step-by-step demonstration instructions, and appropriate evaluation tools. The researchers developed a skill book to enhance the learning experience of BTLED students by providing a structured and practical guide for acquiring and refining essential competencies. Unlike traditional textbooks, the skill book emphasizes hands-on applications through step-by-step instructions, targeted exercises, and assessment tools. This approach supports independent learning, encourages experimentation, and enables immediate feedback—critical components in fostering active engagement. In technology and livelihood education, where outcomes are rooted in practical execution, the skill book proves indispensable. It aids students in internalizing concepts through direct application, thereby improving both retention and comprehension. Beyond equipping students with technical skills, the skill book also prepares them for the evolving demands of the workforce, nurturing adaptability and a mindset for lifelong learning. Ultimately, this learner-centered resource demonstrates the transformative power of education that is aligned with real-world needs.
