Abstract

In the context of digital transformation and business growth, effective human resource management has become essential to organizational productivity. Traditional recruitment and onboarding processes often result in delays, increased errors, and reduced efficiency due to excessive manual paperwork. To address these challenges, this project introduces a Merchandising Management System designed to streamline critical HR functions, including AI-based resume evaluation, online job posting, onboarding, offboarding, and task management. The system provides an end-to-end digital solution that enhances job advertisement, candidate tracking, and employee task supervision, thereby supporting seamless workforce integration and improved engagement. The system was developed using the Agile Scrum methodology, allowing for continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback. Data was collected via surveys and interviews to assess system effectiveness and usability. Modular development was applied to integrate key components such as the Applicant Tracking System, Onboarding and Offboarding Management, and an Employee Portal. Each module was designed to ensure scalability and adaptability based on operational requirements. The implementation of the system significantly enhanced HR operations by reducing manual workload and improving the efficiency of recruitment workflows. AI-driven resume evaluation enabled faster identification of qualified candidates based on preset criteria, expediting the hiring process. The employee portal facilitated task tracking and ensured that new hires completed onboarding procedures effectively. The offboarding module helped standardize exit protocols, supporting professionalism and documentation. Overall, the system improved HR efficiency, minimized processing times, and increased employee engagement. Compared to conventional HR practices, the integration of AI and modular digital tools proved effective in minimizing human error and administrative burden. The inclusion of an interactive onboarding and offboarding framework created a structured and employee-centric process. However, challenges related to user adaptability and data security were identified. Future improvements may include the incorporation of AI-powered learning pathways and advanced cybersecurity features to ensure sustained system reliability and user trust.
