Abstract

Retailers today often struggle to provide customers with easy access to product lists, branch information, and visible benefits. Without a direct and well-designed interface, customers may find it difficult to navigate and locate the information they need, which can negatively affect their shopping experience. The researchers developed the Merchandising Management System CORE 1 to enhance the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) while offering accessible branch information, comprehensive product descriptions, and clear customer benefits. The goal of this system is to improve customer satisfaction and streamline the purchasing process across various branches. Using the agile methodology, the research team conducted user consultations at different stages of development. Feedback from users influenced the customization of system functionalities and design aspects. To ensure the system could adapt to evolving user needs and retail requirements, agile practices such as sprint planning, sprint execution, and continuous integration were implemented. The study demonstrates how retailers can stand out in a competitive market by consolidating product management and customer interaction into a single system. For the system to remain successful in the long term, issues such as maintaining data consistency and ensuring the security of customer information must be addressed. Future improvements may include additional UI enhancements from the former system of The Great Walls Arts Ph, as well as the integration of advanced analytics to enhance the window-shopping experience. The system features a user-friendly interface that centralizes branch information, detailed product descriptions, and customer benefits in a clear and structured format, directly addressing key retail challenges. By providing real-time updates on product availability, promotions, and personalized perks, the system enables customers to make informed purchasing decisions while allowing retailers to manage multi-branch operations more efficiently. This dual improvement enhances customer satisfaction through transparency and ease of use while streamlining back-end processes for retailers.
